C2E—Close to Planes, Trains and Automobiles

An easy getaway is always within reach at C2E Irvine.

Conveniently located in the center of Southern California, C2E in Uptown Irvine is the perfect homebase for exploring the entire state via plane, train or automobile. The ultimate lock-and-leave community, it puts you a quick two hours from some of the world’s top destinations.

Here’s where you can be in just two hours from C2E

San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO
To escape SoCal’s reliably sweaty summers, hop on a plane and head to San Francisco for decidedly cooler climes. What “The City By The Bay” lacks in sunshine it makes up for in an amazing food scene, inspiring parks, nature preserves and vistas, and an undeniable spirit that beckons people from all walks of life.

Getting there is easy. Just an eight minute drive from C2E, John Wayne Airport (SNA) has numerous daily flights to San Francisco International Airport (SFO). In just two hours from take off you could be gorging on a burrito the size of your head in the Mission’s infamous La Taqueria.

San Diego

SAN DIEGO
Irvine residents might take issue with San Diego’s self-styled moniker as “America’s Finest City,” but they have to admit the place has a lot going for it. From beautiful beaches, to fun-loving craft breweries, to historic neighborhoods to an undeniably more laid-back attitude, there’s many reasons to spend a day exploring a corner of this vast county.

As a start, board Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner train which pulls into nearby Santa Ana Station multiple times a day. Take a scenic, approximately 1.5 journey to Solana Beach. Running through the downtown of this upscale beach community in North San Diego County is Cedros Avenue, popular for its boutiques, breweries, tasting rooms, cafes, design showrooms and farmers market.
